Career that spans over many years of leadership appointments at key industrial, defence and academic institutions. While commanding the NUST College of E&ME, one of the premier engineering institutions of the country, the organization was made to achieve tremendous national and international recognition through exclusive focus on its outlook, academics, international standing and R&D. I have all the requisite knowledge of functioning of the government and specially Ministry of Defense where I served as Director General Munition Production(DGMP) and worked diligently in initiating, negotiating, monitoring and concluding several contracts of strategic importance for Pakistan. I also got an exposure of some of the best industries around the globe and in 72 cities of China, once I served on an important assignment of Director General Inspection and Technical Development Directorate(DGITD). In this capacity I dealt with several national and international vendors, directly working with the top ranked leadership in setting strategies, defining procedures and policies on induction of new equipment for Pakistan Army.
An Electrical Engineer from UET Lahore by profession augmented further academic learning through MS in Computer Software Engineering, BSc (honors) from University of baluchistan and MSc in Defence and Strategic studies From Quaid-i-Azam University.
Served on Diplomatic assignment for over three years in China exemplifying a broad based all encompassing spectrum of experience.
